Every Thursday we offer a ‘STEAK & A GLASS OF WINE’ which includes a starter or pudding for a set price. Our steak is from British bread animals and mainly Rare Breed breeds. These are slower growing and therefore the flavour is more developed. The majority come from East Anglia but also from further afield from farms in Galloway, Wales and Cumbria. Our beef is hung for a minimum of 42 days to again, maximise the flavour.

2015 Lacrima di Moro d’Alba, Zaccagnini, Marche, Italy
A rare red grape variety from the Marche region, Lacrima means ‘teardrop’ on account of when the grapes are fully ripe, they weep small amounts of juice! This has an intense red colour with violet notes. Abundant with blackberries and floral notes including rose. It is round and fine and perfectly balanced. Calls for roast meat and particularly pork.
